Warrensburg:
Bernard H. Russell, Jr., 64, of Oak Street, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2015 at his home.
Born April 7, 1951 in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Bernard H. Sr., and Frances (LaFountain) Russell.
A lifelong resident of the area, Bernie was a graduate of Lake George Central School.
He was employed by various ranch resorts throughout the region before his longtime employment with NYS DOT.
Bernie enjoyed hunting, fishing, and team roping.
In addition to his parents, Bernie was predeceased by a sister, Jacqueline Rock, and daughter, Beth Converse.
He is survived by his sons, Shane and Cory Russell; a daughter, Amy Harton; eight grandchildren; his companion, Laurie Converse, her son, Patrick Converse and his wife, Amy, and their children, Breanna and Gavin. He also leaves behind several extended family members and close friends.
Services will take place privately, with burial at the convenience of the family in Warrensburg Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations in Bernie’s memory to the Warrensburg EMS.
