I wish to extend my heartfelt condolences for the loss of your dear loved one. It's during these times we need comfort from the scriptures. Psalm 34:18 tells us that "God is near to those that are broken at heart." You have the assurance from God that you can see your loved one again. "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.”- Acts 24:15. Then you may be able to rejoice with your loved one again forever, "This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ " -John 17:3.

I was so sorry to learn of Ann's death. She was truly a special lady. I met her wile she lived in Virginia. During that time she, and 4 others formed the Nation['s Capital Chapter. I spent many hours with her early on, and she was always fun to be with. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Do remember the happy times!

I was deeply saddened to hear that my good friend had passed away. Ann was one of four incredible ladies who started our decorative painting chapter, Nation’s Capital Chapter (NCC), in the Washington, DC area in 1976. I didn’t know her at that time but met her shortly after I moved to the area in 1989. We had two important things in common. I, too, was a military wife and we both loved painting. Ann and I roomed together for years at many Society of Decorative Painting (SDP) Conventions across the country. She opened up her home to me in Jacksonville on many occasions when I taught painting seminars at her local chapter. Each time that she made the trip north to visit her daughter, Karen and family, she would always call before she got on the road to let me know that she was headed north so that we could plan for lunch during her visit in Virginia. In between conventions and my visits to Florida, we always kept in touch. I will never forget her smile and laughter. She was a remarkable lady who will forever be in my heart. My thoughts and prayers to all of Ann’s family in this most difficult time.
