Dearest Rita & Eric,
We want you to know that our hearts, our love and our prayers go out to both of you and the entire family. What a wonderful, true person your dad was and is..He will forever stay in our memories...You have not lost a father, you have gained an angel. One that will watch over you and keep you safe from harm, fear and struggles. Continue to make your father proud of you. Live the Lang name with pride and joy and happiness, for your dad would of wanted nothing but those things for himself. May God be with all of you in this difficult time. Time will ease your pain, but he will live on with all of you forever.
God Bless you All, We will be there in the spring to share in the "CELEBRATION OF HIS LIFE". MAKE HIS REMEMBRANCE A TIME TO CELEBRATE AND LIVE YOUR LIVES TOGETHER IN LOVE!
All or love,

Papa, I met you roughly 4 years ago when I first started being friendly with Ashlei. I knew you were a great guy the second I met you. I specifically remember one day I was riding my bike past the rec. field, and I stopped to speak to you. You said that I was a good kid and that when you weren't around, it would be my job to take care of Ashlei, your grand daughter that you loved oh so much. I made a promise with you that we sealed with a handshake. I'll never forget that moment, it was one of the last times I saw you. I'll always be there for her, for you. Rest in peace Papa. It was my honor and pleasure to have gotten to know you.
Love
-Alex

I'm glad peace has finally come upon you PaPa. I will miss you. The last time I saw you was just before I went into the military. You, MaMa, and I were engrossed with Fox News at the time and rah rahhing the troops and the call of swift and decisive military action against the enemies of our country. You told me how proud you were of the man I had become, and it really meant allot. Your obituary is right on the money, you were amazing at building something out of nothing and my most cherished memory will be that of the time you taught me how to canoe. Still a favorite activity of mine.
For the family, I pray for the ease of your hurt and suffering. I love you all and God Bless.

Dear Papa,
You were one of the greatest men that I have ever known and I am going to miss you dearly. I am going to think back fondly of all of our memories up in Blue Mountain when I use to lay in bed with you and Mama and pull your armpit hair and say "my Papa", to you putting together my toys at Christmas time or baking cookies for you. I will be sure to tell your Great grandson Kenneth Joseph what a great man you were and I hope he follows in your foot steps. Fly high and now you get to dance away in your brown suits!

Dear Papa,
My only regret is that I met you only recently. When I first met you at your son Eric's house, instantly, I could see the love that you had for your family, especially Ashlei. I also had the pleasure of witnessing first hand, your family's devoted, undying love your you. You are forever loved and will be kept in our hearts forever and always. I just want you to know that I will take care of your Sweetheart. I love her with all of my heart forever and always. God Bless!

Honey the last 3+ weeks meant more to us than anything. After all these years, knowing no marriage is perfect, the good Lord gave us the opportunity to reconcile all differences knowing true love cannot be put aside, it never dies! Words you said nights back home where you belonged will stay with me always. Knowing no one could come close to our love, that you longed for me and didn't know how to deal with it and I was your one and only Kitten, meant more than anything and will be carried in my heart until you hold me again in heaven, hopefully, not in the too distant future.
Those long nights of closeness when we laughed and wept together will remain forever in my heart. Good memories, which we focused on, warmed both of us more than anything else.
Our love had ups and downs, the ups out-weighed any downs. My heart is happy you are not suffering any longer, there will always be a space for you in there as there will be a void in my life.
A wonderful Father to Missi and Eric, I know their love cannot be measured. Grandchildren whom we love more than anything else will hold fond, loving memories of their Papa.
And so my love, enjoy your heaven, eternity with God and all who are there and love you still. Please stay in my heart and know I will love you always and forever....Your Kitten

Edith, Eric and Rita,
What a brave fight Richard fought to stay on this earth! We remember the day at St. Cecilia's when we stood up for you as you renewed your vows, and the joy of Eric and Rita's wedding. Whenever I saw Richard in church he was always smiling and had a nice word or two. He is suffering no longer, but I know that does not ease your pain. We pray that the Lord gives you grace and mercy to get through this time. Peace and blessing.

Eric, Rita, and family,
I'm so sorry for your loss.
Although, I only knew Richie for a few years, he was one of the nicest people I've ever met. I will miss his smile and listening to him reminisce about the 50's and will remember him fondly. (GREAT picture of him)here.
Hopefully your sorrow is lessened, knowing he is with his maker and no longer suffering. He beat the colon cancer, and then the esophageal cancer, and tried to beat this one. When the Lord says it's time to come home, then it's time.
Please take comfort knowing he touched a lot of lives in a special way and that he will be missed by many. May your fond memories of him slowly fill the emptiness you feel.
You are in my thoughts and prayers,
Lynn
