Karen was a wonderful, sweet, loving woman who touched so many lives. I can tell you from personal experience that I will always hold Karens memory in my heart. She taught me so much. i will always remember how loving and talented she was. She always gave so much to others. I still have the ornaments that she made for me as a child and every year I will put them on my christmas tree. Karen taught me cake decorating and thanks to her I will make my children birthday cakes every year and use the skills she taught me to make it extra personal and special to them. Karen truly was an angel. I will always love Karen. She was my sunday school teacher, 4H leader, boss at the fair and friend. I know that everyone that knew her will keep her memory alive. I know I will tell my children someday about the special woman that taught me so much. When I teach my daughter how to bake and decorate cakes I will tell her the stories of the angel that taught me so much and made me a better person. Thank you God for giving me the time that I had with Karen Putnam. She was a wonderful gift that I was fortunate enough to have known for so many years. She was truly a part of the O'Dell family and we will all miss her so much.

Dear Mrs. Putnam and Keith,
I was so sorry to read that Karen had passed away. I saw the notice too late to come to her service. I remember our Brownie and Girl Scout days very fondly and am glad Karen found such enjoyment working with the 4H.
Sincerely,
Nancy Jefts

I too worked with Karen at Continental and have some terrific memories of her,and her sense of humor. I ran into her not so very long ago and even though it had been a few years since I had seen her, she had not changed a bit. I am so sorry for your loss.

I haven't seen Karen in years, (since the Continental Ins days) but I will always remember her as a fun loving, thoughtful person. I know that 4-H was a great passion of hers - I remember she always took the time off from work so she could work at the Warren County Youth Fair. She also made some of the prettiest and best cakes around. I extend my deepest sympathy to her family.

Sylvia, I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Karen from my many years in 4-H. The canoe-trips, winter weekends and of course the FAIR. She was a very special person and her memory will always be with me as well as so many other youth that she inspired. Karen was an angel on earth and now has taken her place by God's side.
