Obituary of Antoinette A. Sacco

Queensbury: Antoinette A. Sacco, 68, of McEchron Lane, passed away peacefully, Thursday, November 25, 2010 at her home with her loving family by her side. Born December 16, 1941 in Lynbrook, she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Lena (Guerra) Rivelli. Following her graduation from Lawrence High School in Long Island, she met the love of her life, Giuseppe “Joe” Sacco and the couple wed September 21, 1963. She was an active member of the Lady of the Annunciation Church where she taught catechism for many years. Antoinette was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her son, Rocco Sacco. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 47 years, Giuseppe “Joe” Sacco of Queensbury; her children: Ernie Sacco and his wife, Dawn; Joseph Sacco, Jr. and his wife, Susan; and Christina Sacco and her fiancée, David Clark, all of Queensbury; brothers: Joseph Rivelli of Kings Park; Frank Di Canio of Spring Hill, FL; and her cherished grandchildren, Heather and Anthony Sacco of Queensbury; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call on Antoinette’s family from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, Sunday at the Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate her life will be conducted 11 am, Monday at the Lady of the Annunciation Church, 448 Aviation Rd., Queensbury, with Fr. Joseph Busch, Pastor, officiating. Rite of Committal will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, South Glens Falls. Antoinette’s family expresses a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Glens Falls Hospital, especially to the nurses on Tower Two, ICU unit and High Peaks Hospice.
