Obituary of Faith E. Warner

Johnsburg/Gloversville: Faith E. Warner, 67, Walnut St, Gloversville, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the Saratoga Hospital following a long illness. Born December 4, 1947 in North Creek, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Jessie (Bills) Millington Sr. Faith was raised in Bakers Mills and went on to marry William Warner Jr. in 1994. The couple has lived in Gloversville the majority of their time together. She worked as a health aid at Adirondack Tri-County Nursing Home in North Creek before health issues changed her life. Faith loved spending time with her grandchildren, shopping, family cookouts and bowling. Besides her parents her sister, Linda Duell and her brothers, Robert, Wayne and Duane Millington have all predeceased her. She leaves behind her husband of 21 years, Bill Warner of Gloversville, two sons, Urban Thissell Jr. and his wife, April of Bakers Mills, John (Frank) Thissell and his wife, Reisha of Johnsburg; two daughters, Debbie Mc Arthur and her husband, Alan of Johnstown, Crystal Hopkins and her husband, Robert of Gloversville; her siblings, Joan Younes and her husband, Donald of Brant Lake, Carol Moffat and her husband, David of Schroon Lake, Michael Millington and his wife, Wendy of Connecticut, Rose Smalldon of Canada, Mary Morehouse and her husband, Richard of Bakers Mills, Betty Keller of Galway, and Christopher Millington of Albany; four step children, William Warner III of Ogdensburg, Jennifer Warner, Douglas Warner and Christine French all of Gloversville; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and one great grandson. Friends may call of Faith’s family from 2-4 pm Tuesday, March 31 at the Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main Street, Warrensburg. A funeral service to celebrate her life will follow the visitation at 4 pm Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ron Allen, Pastor of the Sodom Community Church officiating. Spring burial will take place in the Bates Cemetery, Johnsburg. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Renal Center of the Saratoga Hospital.
