Obituary of Audrey R. Harrington

Warrensburg:
Audrey R. Harrington, 76, formerly of State Route 28, passed away peacefully, Friday, March 11, 2016 at her residence at The Vineyard Inn in Seminole, Florida, with her son and daughter at her side.
Born February 9, 1940 in Passaic, NJ, she was the daughter of the late John and Josephine Anna (Sasiwski) Ressetar.
Audrey married Marshall E. Harrington on June 10, 1961 at the Cadet Chapel in West Point, NY. As a Military Wife of a Field Artillery Officer, Audrey and her family were stationed in such places as Fort Carson, CO, Fort Sill, OK, The University of Oklahoma, Fort Leavenworth, KS, Willow Grove Naval Air Station, PA, and at the United States European Command in Stuttgart, Germany.
Following her husband’s retirement from the United States Army in 1981, Audrey returned home to Wevertown and Glens Falls, NY. The family later relocated to Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri, where Marshall worked on the B-2 Bomber for Northrop Grumman Corporation. Following his death in February of 2002, Audrey moved to Attleboro MA and finally to Seminole, FL.
She is survived by a son, Michael E. Harrington and his wife, Deborah, of Seminole, FL; a daughter, Aileen Schaffer and her husband, Kevin, of Aurora, CO; four grandchildren, Heather, Michael, and Thomas Harrington, and Kathleen Schaffer. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call on Audrey’s family from 9:15 to 10 am, Wednesday March 16, 2016 at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Main St., North Creek.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated immediately following the visitation at 10 am, Wednesday, at the church, with Father John O’Kane officiating.
Rite of Committal will follow in Union Cemetery.
