My heart goes out to the Davis family on the loss of your loved one. It is not easy to find comfort when a loved one dies. I have found that we can find comfort in the words in the bible. I like the words in Ps. 147:3 "God heals the brokenhearted and binds their wounds." We can do this by the promise of the resurrection in John 5:28 where Jesus says all those in the graves (Memorial tombs) will hear my voice and come out. I hope this will give you some comfort at this difficult time.

Jim, Tom, Bill and all family, Cliff was such a nice man and one of my dad's best friends. He had a real musical talent and a love for the Lord. I know he will be missed by so many. I still remember all the fun times I had at his home when I was a teen. Let your memories be reminders of all the good times you shared here on earth. God bless you.

As you try to comprehend this profound loss know that it is okay to grieve the loss of your dear loved one. For the true God in the heavens feel your pain -Isaiah 41:10. He knows your suffering and will help you cope with your grief. Job 10:1 says " I will speak out in my bitter distress". Have faith in God's promise written at Acts 24:15 which expresses the hope of seeing your dead loved ones again. It is comforting for us to know that God does not cause suffering and that one day it will end. -Revelation 20:12,13..

I spent many wonderful hours as a child at Cliff's farm. He and Dad (Thomas Eggleston) were cousins and remained good friends all their lives. Visiting Cliff several weeks ago, we shared many fond memories of family and events in the past. Rest peacefully in God's arms, Cliff. You have lots of catching up to do with those you loved so that were called before you.
