Lyndon L. Gadway, 64, of Igerna Rd. passed away peacefully due to a long illness on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born on January 16, 1946 in Malone, he was the son of the late Leon and Theresa (Gregory) Gadway.
Lyndon was a lifelong resident of the area.
Lyndon was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, family outings, and living his life to the max.
Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his infant son, Patrick; his infant daughter Tammy; and his brothers, Edward and John “Jack” Gadway.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Josie; his mother in law, Ruth Wisell; his daughter, Leah Clark of Arizona; 3 sons: Peter Gadway; Ben Gadway and his wife, Tasha; Mark Gadway and his wife, Jennifer, all of North Creek. He is also survived by his sister, Gloria Gadway of Arizona; brother, Aaron Gadway and his wife, Cindy of Indian Lake; sister, Betty Jean Mead and her husband, Mike of Queensbury; and sister in laws, Rosie Gadway of Fort Ann and Debbie Gadway of South Glens Falls; as well as several grandchildren, step children, nieces, nephews and many friends.
The family would like to express a special thank you to High Peaks Hospice, and a very special thank you to Hopice nurse, Jessica for making his remaining time comfortable and pain free.
At Lyndon’s request, services are to be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.
