Obituary of Doris Reynolds

Doris M. Reynolds, 73, passed away Friday, November 25, 2005 at her home on Huber Rd., Thurman, following a long illness. Doris was born on May 27, 1932 in Buffalo, she was a daughter of Deo and Lucille (Lyday) Cain. She was employed by General Electric in Hudson Falls for 21 years, retiring in 1994 Doris married David J. Reynolds on August 7, 1975 in Fair Haven, VT. He passed away on April 28, 2001. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing cards and Sunday rides with her family. Doris was also predeceased by her parents, a daughter Debbie Smith and a sister Jean Smith. She is survived by her loving and caring daughter Claudette Cain, with whom she resided; two sisters Blanche Gonzales and Ruth Soto, both of Buffalo; one Grandson Richard Millington Jr.; sisters and brothers-in-law James and Betty Reynolds, Robert and Susan Baker, Marie Allison, Ellen Martin and Laura Rafferty; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 6-7pm on Monday, Nov. 28th, at the Alexander Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg, where a funeral service will be held at 7pm, Monday, with the Rev. David Butler, pastor of the Kenyontown Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will take place at Warrensburg Cemetery. The family would like to express their appreciation to the Thurman emergency for their Kindness during Doris’s illness.
