Scotty was a great friend of mine for forty three years. We lived through many mile stones together. We met in college, working at the Barnes and Noble Bookstore in 1975. That cemented our friendship for the many years ahead. We took important classes together-Psych of Sex and Volleyball! Partying was one of the things we shared. Jokes and funny life stories always brought an uproar of laughs. Playing set back was our traditional game, of course playing by 1081 house rules, Scott's fraternity house. Memorial Day Weekend was a highlight for a reunion of good times, old stories, music and laughs. Scott and Kim were a hallmark of the MDW group. When the Read's arrived, it was "party on"! Suzie running off in the woods, Nutmeg in the pond, Scott stuck in the tent, KimmeO's, camp side fire songs late in to the night, dug-outs, are just a few examples of the fond memories to carry me forward. I will miss Scott all my days ahead. He is a part of who I am and all the memories we shared.

SCOTTY! Our friend since the 70's. A real sweetheart of a guy with a gravely voice and hardy laugh. MDW Forever, my friend.

Dear Kim and family, my sincerest wishes for peace and comfort during this difficult time. Scott and I met at RA, and talk about coincidences, it turns out his best friend was Peter Hadden. They were roommates for several years, and my understanding was Peter introduced the 2 of you!..Peter is the Godfather of our youngest son, Michael. I have to let him know, but am not sure how to do it. Please know all of you are in my prayers.......K
