Obituary of Mary E. Barlow

Warrensburg: Mary E. Barlow, 82, formerly of Sanford Street, went into eternal rest on Sunday, May 3, 2009 at Indian River Nursing Home in Granville. Born October 19, 1926 in New York City, she was the daughter of the late John and Agnes (Diamond) Hanna. She married Vincent H. Barlow August of 1947 in Riverdale. The couple resided and raised their family in Albany before retiring to the north-country. Her favorite pastimes included sewing, crafts and home improvement projects. She was a communicant of St. Cecilia’s RC Church in Warrensburg. Besides her parents, her husband of 56 years, Vincent H. Barlow, passed away on May 21, 2004 and her brother, John Hanna also predeceased her. Survivors include her daughter, Maryanette Pesce and her husband, Michael of River Edge, NJ; her son, Paul Vincent Barlow and his wife, Robin, of Baldwin, Long Island; 5 grandchildren, Megan, Erin, and Jason Barlow, and Karen and Michael Pesce; and one great grandson, Alexander Black. Friends may call on the family from 6-8 pm this evening, (Tuesday) at the Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main Street, Warrensburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 am Wednesday at St. Cecilia’s Roman Catholic Church, Main St., Warrensburg with the Rev. Paul Cox, officiating.
