While residing on Long Island, he was a member of the Rod and Gun Club and enjoyed playing on the local softball league. Besides his father, his daughter, Kimberly VanScoy, predeceased him. In addition to his mother, Jean, Bob leaves behind, his beloved wife of 47 years, Mary L. Tuma of North Creek; his two sons, Robert J. Tuma and his wife, Patricia of North Creek, Kevin J. Tuma and his companion, Kimberly Springer of North Creek; three grandsons, Bobby Tuma, Max and Lucas VanScoy; his sister, Janet Larson and her husband, Edward of Jefferson and their son, Edward of Florida.
