Warrensburg/Glens Falls:
Constanza Brechea, 84, formerly of Mountain Ave. passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Glens Falls Hospital, following a long illness.
Born September 23, 1929 in Bucharest, Romania, she was the daughter of the late Constantin and Maria Assador.
Referred to as Constance, she married Stefan S. Brechea on January 8, 1954 in Bucharest, Romania. The couple came to the United States in 1976, and she resided for many years on MacDougal Street in New York City. She worked as a draftsperson at an engineering firm in New York.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband, Stefan, who passed away December 20, 2000.
Constance is survived by her friends and the staff at the Pleasant Valley Infirmary, where she spent her final two years.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 am, Tuesday, November 26, 2013 in the Warrensburg Cemetery with Father Philip Begley.
