Richie, Gail, Tony and John, I am so sorry for your loss. The last time I saw Patti was at a pee wee football game in Grandville when Johns son was playing on the same team as my grandson. Living one mile apart, riding the bus everyday together and being class mates, has definitely left many memories in my mind. Patti was always a good friend to everyone. Both being talkers, whenever we saw each other there was never a shortage of conversation. My heart is sad to know she suffered for so long. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

In high school, Patti and I were high classmates and good friends. She was smart and so talented in many ways, and always genuine. Even though we were in contact very infrequently over the many years since, she remained the same kind, sincere friend I always knew. You were a very special lady Patti, and I will miss you greatly.

To Tony and all of Patti's family my deepest condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with you now as they were with Patti during her fight. Patti was a wonderful person and a good friend during our school years together. She always seemed to smile and lend a helping hand if needed. I look forward to seeing her in the New System healthy and happy once again . At least we know she is no longer suffering. May the good Lord send His angels to comfort you in your time of need,

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Recently I lost my dear mother, and found great comfort in the Holy Bible, like at Isaiah 25 verse 8 - "The Sovereign Lord will swallow up death forever, and wipe away the tears from all faces." Tony, Pete & family, It's hard to put into words the impact Patti had on so many lives. She was a very special friend to me, one who was always there. We supported each other, whether we agreed or disagreed, on things. She always made you feel special and she loved in the deepest of ways. She is now free of her pain and suffering. She's now watching over all of us. (Send me that sign, Patti-I'll be waiting, girl!!) I'll love you always and never forget you!

Ms. Turi was my seventh grade teacher at Warrensburg. She had a knack for always getting the best out of me academically, challenging me, but in a such an encouraging and nurturing manner. She made my transition to high school so much easier and I will never forget that. Her teaching transcended the classroom, as she genuinely cared about you as a person, even after moving on from her class. Her kindness and generosity never wavered, despite the challenges she faced. I will really miss her.

Patti and I were hired at the same time at WCS. We worked closely together with 7th graders. We developed a curriculum that allowed us to join classes so we could make quilts that we then donated to various causes/places. She was a great person--so talented and giving. I am greatful that I met her and got to work with her for as long as I did. My memories of working with her will stay with me forever. I am sincerely sorry for your loss and hope your memories will help ease the pain somewhat.

I'm so sorry for you loss. I had Ms Turi in school and she took me under her wing. She not only taught me life science lessons but also many valuable life lessons. I looked up to her. She was a great teacher and later friend. I recall a hike I went on with her and two other students (we were her kids)...we got to this walk bridge over water and I was like"no way" ...well she got me to cross. She believed in me as well as all her students. Over the years we talked seldom but when we did she was quick to ask how I was and how my family was. She had a very big heart that had been put through a lot but she always looked to the greater side of things and always made the time for those she cared about. She will be greatly missed but I have no doubt that she will carry on in each of the lives she touched.

Her pain and suffering is now over, and now the two smartest women I ever knew are now together in heaven (Patti and our daughter Morgan).
