Alfred Wallace Ingraham, 89, formerly of Athol Road, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at The Pines at Glens Falls.
Born April 2, 1926 in Thurman, he was the son of the late Nathan and Bertha (King) Ingraham.
Alfred was a United States Army veteran, who served overseas during World War II.
Following his honorable discharge, he was employed by Warrensburg Board & Paper.
He was a hard worker and an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed his beer.
Besides his parents, Alfred was predeceased by his siblings, Francis Richard Ingraham, Rocco Ingraham and his wife, Ann, Gilbert Ingraham and his wife, Florence, Basil Ingraham and his wife, Florence, Lena Squires and her husband, Vern, Julia Higgins and her husband, Frannie, and Edgar Leo Ingraham, and a brother-in-law, Carl Colson.
He is survived by a sister, Helen Colson of Corinth, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
At Alfred’s request there will be no calling hours scheduled.
A service with full military honors will take place at 1:30 pm, June 3, 2015 at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
