Obituary of Stephen T. Roberts

Bolton Landing: Stephen T. Roberts, 62, of Potter Hill Road, passed away Friday, November 25, 2011 at his home, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born December 29, 1948 in Concord, NH, he was the son of the late Stephen E. and Geraldine (Buckley) Roberts of Woburn, Mass. Stephen grew up in Woburn, Massachusetts and attended St. Charles Catholic School. He graduated from Woburn High School in 1968, where he excelled in football, hockey, and baseball. He enjoyed many adventures as an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman. Owner of Steve's Auto Repair in Stoneham, MA for over 20 years, then retired to his farmhouse in Bolton Landing, New York with his best friend Patty, two dogs Barney and Sabin, and his chickens. He always lived life to the fullest his own way. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his sisters: Donna Maddio and Jane Grantham of Townsend, MA. He is survived by his loving companion of ten years, Patricia Wheeler of Bolton Landing, NY; beloved daughter, Stacey Roberts of Nashua,NH; stepchildren: Daniel Adgurson of Missouri; Melissa Porcella of Atkinson, NH; and Matthew Wheeler of Bolton Landing,NY; eight grandchildren; beloved nephews: Thomas Carey of Nashua,NH and Jeremiah Grantham of Townsend,MA; aunt, Kay Burke of Concord, NH; along with several cousins and many great friends. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be conducted 11:00 am, Saturday, December 3rd, 2011 at St. Charles Church, Main Street, Woburn, MA with Father Arthur MacKay officiating.
