Tan V. Le Obituary
WARRENSBURG: It is with heavy hearts that the family of Tan V. Le, 58 years young, announces his passing on July 31, 2026.
Tan was born on February 18, 1968, in Binh Duong, Vietnam, to the late Re Le and Ro Thai. He left school at a young age and began working as a lab technician before learning the trade of an electrician. It was while working as an electrician that he met the love of his life, Thanh T. Phan, who worked for the same company. They were married on December 5, 1998, and shared nearly 28 years of love, partnership, and devotion together.
In November 2006, Tan, Thanh, and their treasured daughter, Nhu, immigrated to the United States to be with his sister and brother-in-law, Phe and Eldon Hall. In 2012, Tan and Thanh fulfilled their dream of owning a business by opening Nhu Nails in Warrensburg.
Tan found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved watching soccer and especially cherished playing the game with his daughter. He had a deep appreciation for nature and all animals. His gentle heart was evident in everything he did, even refusing to fish because he didn't want to harm the fish. Each year during the World's Largest Garage Sale, Tan and his family became well known for his delicious homemade spring rolls, drawing loyal customers from across the region who looked forward to them year after year.
Though quiet by nature, Tan's kindness, compassion, and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his strong work ethic, and the warmth and generosity he shared with others. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Left to cherish Tan's memory are his beloved wife, Thanh Phan; his daughter, Nhu Le and son Tai Le; his siblings, Phe (L.D.) Hall, Van Le, Hanh Le and her husband, Hoang Ngo, Nhi Le, and Loc Le and his wife, Thuan; his mother-in-law, Cheo Nguyen; his father-in-law, Chon Phan; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation for Tan’s family and friends will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026 from 3pm-5pm at Alexander Funeral Home, 3809 Main Street, Warrensburg, NY.
A funeral service will be private.
At a later date, Tan will be laid to rest beside his beloved mother in his homeland of Vietnam.
