Raymond Wendall "Ray" Kenyon Obituary

THURMAN: Raymond Wendell Kenyon, 78, passed away peacefully at his daughter, Megan’s home in Queensbury on May 29th, 2025.


Ray was born on March 26th 1947 in Glens Falls to the late Phillip and Elaine Kenyon of Thurman, NY.


Ray was a United States Army Veteran as well as a former Finch Paper employee until his retirement. Ray was a rare, one-of-a-kind friend with an infectious laugh that drew people to him. To know Ray was to love him. His grandchildren lovingly called him their Pap Pap.


Besides his parents Ray was predeceased by his beloved sister, Pamela Siletti as well as his brother-in-law Ed Merrithew.


Left to cherish Ray’s memory is his wife Ruth, son Raymond (Stephanie) and daughter Megan (Justin): Grandchildren, Amber, Madsion, & Greyson. Step grandchildren, Scottie, Pacey (Emily), Brendan as well as step great grandchildren, August and Carson; Siblings: Janice Merrithew, Douglas Kenyon (Janet), Richard Kenyon (Georgia), John Kenyon, Jacqueline Wells (Kevin), David Kenyon (Lorrie), and his brother-in-law Paul Siletti; and numerous nieces and nephews.
