CHESTERTOWN: Chad Michael 'Chummer' Cole, 49, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Wednesday, February 5, 2025.

Born December 22, 1975 at Glens Falls Hospital, Chad was the son of the late David Cole and Christine Warrington.

Chad was a lifelong resident of the North Creek area. He worked as a chef at several local restaurants and, during the winter months, served as a ski technician at the Gore Mountain Rental Shop. Chad’s favorite pastimes included camping, fishing, playing soccer, and enjoying horseshoes with friends and family. He was also an avid skier and an expert on the mountain.

He was predeceased by his Mother Christine Warrington and father David Cole, as well as his maternal grandparents Leona Warrington and Douglas Warrington.

He is lovingly remembered by his son Xavier Cole of Minerva, his brothers Todd Warrington of Northville and Kevin Morehouse of North Creek, his sister Jessica King of Lake Tahoe, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a lot of good friends.

A celebration of life will be held at the North Creek Ski Bowl on May 17, 2025 at 1pm.
