ATHOL: With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Barbara Jean (Murray) Baker, who left this world on January 28, 2025 at the age of 62. Barbara was a deeply loved mom, wife, grandmother, sister, and daughter, whose warmth, kindness, and love touched everyone she met. Along with her love for God, she never gave up in life.

Born in Ticonderoga, New York on June 28, 1962 to the Michael Murray and the late Lillian “Streeter” Murray, Barbara lived a life full of love, kindness, and generosity. She was known for her strength, her faith, her love, and the way she brightened up a room with her laugh. Whether she was cooking dinner for her family, offering advice to her kids, or helping someone she just met, her kindness was seen by all.

She is survived by her husband Thomas; her children Kaylee and Jason; her grandson Michael; her father Michael, and her brothers Gary and Steve.
