Obituary of Rhonda L. Duell

Please share a memory of Rhonda to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Warrensburgh: On Thursday, December 31, 2020, Rhonda Leigh (Brunner) Duell, loving wife and mother of two, passed away surrounded by family at the age of 63. Rhonda was born on July 9, 1957 in Glens Falls, NY to Walter “Wally” Chester and Frances “Fran” Luraas. Rhonda enjoyed and lived the majority of her life in Warrensburgh where she married Dexter Duell on November 25, 1973. Together they raised two frickin amazing children, their son, Aaron and their daughter, Jessica. Rhonda adored and loved spending time with her three grandchildren, Brandon (18), Abigail (16) and Jude (7). Her loving husband Dexter, family and friends built her a house and they made it a home. It was her happy place that she described as being decorated in antique, Adirondacks, love and garage sale. Rhonda would normally be found at her back deck oasis enjoying the view, a drink, her crossword puzzles and the sun with her family and/or her crew. Rhonda never had a problem talking to people and always made new friends no matter the situation or where she was. Rhonda was an avid music lover and enjoyed dancing to it. Rhonda was known for her ability to talk to anyone and her infectious smile and demeanor. Throughout the years, Rhonda held various jobs and always seemed to be a hardworking, friendly face of the business. No matter the job, her creativity, critical eye and friendliness always shined through. Rhonda was preceded in death by her father, Wally, and her mother, Fran. She is survived by husband Dexter, her son Aaron and his wife Brielle, her daughter Jessica, her sister Roberta Jones, her step-mother Dawn Brunner, a slew of cousins, in-laws, nieces and nephews, her grandchildren and friends. A gathering of friends and family will be scheduled for July due to COVID to hopefully enable more to be able to celebrate her life.
