I want to send my condolences to the family of Michael Nissan . Your dad will be greatly missed. There is not enough words to say how great of a man he was. Fair and persevering and by the book .a great part of our community is now gone but will never be forgotten . Mr.Nissan made Warrensburg the hometown that it is today and for that we thank him. I hope in the future days the family will find peace and hold there heads high for all that he left behind. A legacy that will hard to fill those shoes! Thanks Bonnie Monroe Bills.

To Mike and entire Nissen family. My thoughts are with you in theses difficult times. I knew Judge Nissen both personally and professionally for many years. He was a man of honor and integrity both in and out of the courtroom where I saw him most. I always enjoyed chatting with him and could usually expect a little wit and a smile to pop up in the conversation He will be missed by many.

To the Nissen Family: Learning of your Dad's passing in the Post Star brought back memories of the past for me at WCS. I was a candidate for a teaching position at the Warrensburg Central School as French teacher in 1974. Mr. Nissen was on the school board at that time and ( if my memory serves me correctly) was one of the board members who interviewed me. I remember him as a very kind and caring individual who put me at ease with his questions that evening as this was my first teaching position after my graduation from SUNY Potsdam. To my delight, I received the call that I had been hired for the position that Fall and spent 5 memorable years at the school teaching French and holding French dinners in the cafeteria yearly with my French Club to raise money for a class trip to Quebec City. May your memories ease your grief in your loss in the coming days. Sincerely," Madame"
Kimmerly(Cathy) former French Teacher, Crossville, TN.

Very saddened to hear the news of Judge Nissen passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and he will be deeply missed by the Warrensburg community. He was a great man and a very dear friend to the Cooper family and he worked side by side with my Father John for many years for the American Legion and my mother Doreen, and the other organizations that he was part of in the community. He will be missed by everyone that knew him and had the opportunity to work with him. On behalf of the entire Cooper family I send my sincere sympathies to his family and may he rest in peace and be granted entrance and eternal life in the kingdom of heaven. Heaven has gained another angel and a wonderful and great man. David J. Cooper Sr.
