Mary Gail and I have known Joe for many years, and we have many beautiful pieces of wood in our home in Virginia and our cabin at Sherman Lake that came from his hard work. He was always very gracious with his time showing us the beauty he had found in wood, and his beautiful craftsmanship in his and his children's houses. We looked forward to seeing him each year at the fair at Blue Mountain Lake, and we enjoyed visiting with him even when we didn't need any of his wares. He was a fine gentleman, and he will be missed. Darrell Hoffman

Tuckers came to know joe as he cut slabs of burl for our mostly hobby rustic furniture business. fantastic person.
Joes favorite wood was Butternut. on one occasion he and Kathy honored us with a tour of their hand crafted butternut kitchen.
of course personally milled.

So sorry for your loss Kathy and family. I was just someone that got to know him from working on his electronic equipment. You can always sense a beautiful friendly soul , and Joe and Kathy were always so warm and friendly. RIP Joe
