So.sorry to hear.of jacks passing. I worked with him at Peckhams. He and I wired the house I built in Kennebunk Port.Maine. I asked Jack.how long he thought it would take as we were going to do it weekends. He said "with the two of us doing it 40 hours. " With that grin of his.he added " But if we had twenty people that doesn't mean two hours" Rest in peace Jack. Jim Hull

I’m both sad and delighted to hear of Jack’s graduation to heaven. Having personal experience with my dad similar to what you have experienced with Jack I know that there is a sense of relief that he is safe and healed in the arms of Jesus and yet sadness because you love him so much and now he is no longer present with you on earth. Both are valid and real emotions and both are felt very deeply.
I have had the privilege of being in your home a few times and have observed a love for Jack as your husband, as your father, and as your grandfather that has caused me to pause and praise God. What a blessing for me to see Jesus through your care and love of Jack.
As I have wrestled with my dad’s death a bible verse sung by Keith Green has brought a much needed peace and rest to my grieving soul. The verse is Psalm 116:7 “Return to your rest, my soul, for the Lord has been good to you.”
Here is the link to that song:

It’s something to think that heaven has a new resident! As I think of Jack stepping into heaven I can hear the angels singing and praising God for the arrival of one of His children. Psalm 116:15 “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants.” Makes me smile.
May God’s love shine down on each one of you and may His rest and peace engulf your grieving souls.
Love, prayers, and blessings,
Laurie
