I remember Mr. pryme saying that he was convinced that gas would be a dollar a gallon in the not-too-distant future. I thought he was a crazy old guy. It was difficult to fall asleep in his class. I am sorry for your loss.

With a heavy heart I send my sympathies to everyone, Bill, Umpie, Laurie and all or your families. Some of my best childhood memories revolved around "Mr. Pryme." Coaching Little League baseball for the summer rec program in Warrensburg . . . High School History Class, a lot of laughs. Man, could Furman tell a story! Never let the truth get in the way of a good story! Our families had many great times together and I will always remember the one and only Furman Pryme.

I'll always remember the best part of the day in High School was Mr. Pryme's Government class. We sure had a lot of laughs yet still managed to learn something! Imagine that! I never lived down being a Yankee fan in that class though. Sorry Mr. P. but I still am. I'll miss you dearly but always remember you fondly. God Bless you "Pop". My condolences to Bill and Brian and your families.
With love, Debbie & Larry Convoy

Its been a generation or better since my days in Furm's classroom. The specifics of the lessons are no longer clear but the spirit and personality of the man are as present now as ever.
I am sorry for your loss and also sorry that I will be away for the service. You will be in my prayers.

My sincerest feelings of sorrow and condolence to you all at this time of great loss. Although I was saddened by the news of your Dad's passing, I remembered all the wonderful times we shared throughout the many years of teaching together. Your Dad may have left his earthly home, but be comforted in knowing he is now safe and secure in his heavenly home with a Father that will forever hold him in His loving arms. May that same loving Lord be with each of you and give you peace and comfort in all the days ahead. My prayers go out to all of you.

Every now and then a teacher comes along that even though he is tough, you look forward to his class because you know it will be fun and that you will really learn the material. That was Mr. Pryme's class, and his legacy will live on through his students.

Sorry to the family for the loss of a great History teacher.I will always remember Mr. Pryme teaching History with his foot up on the chair. He gave all the answers in the class discussion. Then you got tested to see what you remembered. What a deal. If you didn't pass then it was because you didn't pay attention to discussion. He was the best.
Sincerely,
Sharon Harvey

To the Pryme Family,
The world has lost one of it's greatest teachers and human being. Pop Pryme was easily my favorite teacher. There was no one else like him, with his sense of humor and the stories he could tell.
We have all lost something precious with his passing.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
