Bolton Landing:
Tracy Lynn Lamb French, 46, of Finkle Road passed away peacefully, Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Glens Falls Hospital with her loving family by her side, following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born January 11, 1966 in Ticonderoga, and attended Ticonderoga High School.
She married the love of her life and soul mate, Peter T. French on August 15, 1987; the couple has since resided in Bolton Landing.
Tracy was employed as a cook at the Hometown Diner in Bolton Landing, where she cherished her job and those surrounding her.
She enjoyed helping others, watching her children participate in sports and activities, and was an active Girl Scout leader. She will be remembered as a loving mother and friend.
She is predeceased by her mother, Elizabeth “Betty” Perry.
Tracy is survived by her beloved husband of 24 years, Peter French; her daughter, Charlie Elizabeth French; and her son, Dustin Casey French, all of Bolton Landing. She also leaves behind her special uncle, Harold “Hoppy” Frasier, and his wife, Arleene, of Pottersville; several cousins, brothers-in-laws, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many close friends who she referred to as her sisters.
Tracy completely devoted herself to her family, friends, work, and community. She had a special way of brightening your day, and found the best in everything and everyone; her kind, unselfish, and forgiving ways could make lighter the darkest of days.
Friends may call on Tracy’s family from 4 to 6 pm, Monday, April 16, 2012 at Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will follow at 6:00 pm at the funeral home with Harold A. Shippey, Chaplain of the Bolton Volunteer Fire Co. officiating.

Tracy’s family would like to express the deepest gratitude to family, friends, the entire community of Bolton, and to the staff of Glens Falls Hospital for all the care and compassion that was offered throughout her illness.
