Dear friends & co-wkrs @ ATCNH,
It is with great sadness and fondness that I recall the times spent with Charlie- whether in the D.rm or during the many qrtly MDS mtgs. Such a really big man in many ways :) He always seemed to manage with such grace- given his health challenges robbed him of what he loved to do most of all. I know there will be a major empty space in your hearts- since he was such a staple there and an amazing soul. My sincere condolences. Love, Sandy Watson

Charlie was a very kind and humble man. I met him in 1996 when I found my birth mother, Margaret Kays, and they were both very kind and accepted me and my family. After Margarets' (my mother) passing, Charlie kept in touch, and loved getting the fruit baskets and walnuts I sent, he loved his Big Trees and his home, I feel very fortunate to have known him, and he will be missed. So very glad to have been a part of Charlies "staff" family. He was a special person to so many. We loved him, and he loved us- The memories he gave to us will be shared for many years to come.

Another,"One Of A Kind" gone to live in the mountains of the Lord. Charlie loved the Adirondack Mountains and was an avid woodsman and conservationist. My fondest memories of Charlie, when I was young, were walking to his farm and hanging around and helping him haying ot plowing, just for a chance o drive the beautiful team of horses that he had. Gone, but certainly not forgotten.

Charlie was a very kind and gentle man, whose careers working a variety of jobs in his beloved Adirondacks made him a local legend in his time. We at the north creek health center will miss him greatly but will not forget him.
