Hudson Falls/Warrensburg:
Teresa M. Shaw, 86, formerly of Horicon Avenue, passed away peacefully, Monday, September 3, 2012 at her home in Hudson Falls with her loving family by her side.
Born June 22, 1926 in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Anna (Zvwingle) Wirmusky.
She married V. Briggs “Junie” Shaw on November 2, 1947 and the couple resided in Hoosick Falls, where they raised their family.
The couple eventually relocated to the North Country in 1973, where they were the proprietors of the former Schroon River Pub in Warrensburg.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her beloved husband of 49 years, “Junie” V. Briggs Shaw, Jr. and a son, David H. Shaw.
She is survived by her son, Stephen A. Shaw and his wife, Karin of Hudson Falls; two granddaughters, Stephanie Shaw of VT and Christine LaVoie of CT; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
At Teresa’s request, there are no calling hours or funeral services scheduled.
She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband in the Warrensburg Cemetery at the convenience of her family.
